The KSU Day of Service is designed as an opportunity to say thanks to our local community that has supported the university in many important ways throughout its history. Volunteers participate in a variety of projects that meet the specific needs of community organizations throughout Cobb County and Metro Atlanta. Please check back soon for the 2018 Day of Service date.
PLEASE NOTE: This year we will have check-in, breakfast and departure at both the Kennesaw and the Marietta campus location. Please select your service site carefully, it will be the responsibility of the volunteer to arrive at the correct campus check-in the morning of the event. The 2017 Day of Service schedule, service site locations, transportation and parking, and waiver information is listed below.
2017 Day of Service Schedule
7:45am - 8:30am - Registration and Check-In @ University Rooms in the Carmichael Student Center on the Kennesaw campus or Student Center Ballroom on the Marietta campus.
8:30am - 9:00am - Travel to Service Sites (transportation provided to some sites)
9:00am - 12:00pm - Service Project
12:00pm -12:30pm - Return to KSU

KSU Marietta campus - 3D Machine Shop - SITE FULL
Project Description: Cleaning machine shop in state of the art 3D print/machine shop. Sweep floors, grease machines.
Location: 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060
KSU will provide transportation to some sites off-campus via buses and vans. The sites that transportation will be provided are indicated on the registration form. Volunteers who would like to transport themselves are welcomed to meet at their assigned service site.
Parking on the Kennesaw campus will be available for students and community members will be available in Lot A or the East Deck. Faculty and staff can utilize Lots B or C.
Parking on the Marietta campus will be available in Lot 35.
In order to participate in the Day of Service, all volunteers are required to sign the liability waiver the day of the event. If you are a KSU student, faculty or staff member the liability waiver will be included in the registration process electronically.
If you are a community member or KSU Almuni, the waiver is attached here, you can print it and bring it that morning or complete it at check-in.
Please note - If you are bringing a minor child with you that you are unable to sign on their behalf as Parent/Guardian, please make sure to have the waiver form printed out and signed and ready to submit at the event.
